As Moraira is primarily a beach resort you may think that your best option is to stay at your villa to binge some Netflix….BUT there are many options other than the beach available in the area.Who knows? Cinema Jayan – Javea
Cinema Jayan is a charming little cinema in the Marina area in Javea that shows movies in both Spanish and English. It has been opened for over 50 years now and has been renovated in 2018. They usually show 2-3 movies a day (there is only one cinema room.) We love the old school ticket booth and the fact that you have an intermission.

This 18th-century noble house in the heart of Benissa’s old town will take you back in time! Step into the 18th century and discover how people were living back then. This is a perfect excuse to drive up to Benissa and stroll its charming little alleys.

Cuevas de las Calaveras – Benidoleig
These pre-historical caves were inhabited more than 50.000 years ago and they are now open to the public. The name “Cueva de las Calaveras”, which translates to “Skulls Cave”, was apparently given to the place after Moorish King Ahli Moho tried to hide in the Caves with his 150 concubines and servants but got slaughtered by the Spanish Army.
